Free quotation generator with UAE VAT
Build a quote with your logo, line items, discounts and an expiry date, add 5% VAT as an estimate if you are registered, and download a PDF. Once the client agrees, turn the same document into an invoice.
Free, no sign-up, and it runs in your browser
A price offered. Counts as nothing until you invoice it. Tax invoices and tax credit notes need VAT registration.
Optional. PNG, JPG or WebP. Without one, your name goes at the top.
A Stripe, Ziina or any other payment page shows on the document as a QR code and a Pay button.
Still needed: Client name, At least one line item with a description and quantity.
What it does
A good quote gives the client everything they need to say yes: your business name, logo and contact details, who it is prepared for, a quote number of its own, each line with its quantity, price and discount, then the subtotal, estimated VAT and total. It also carries the date issued and the date it is valid until, your payment terms, and notes on scope, exclusions or what happens next.
Quotes count on their own number series, apart from invoices, so accepting or dropping one never leaves a gap in your invoice numbers. The same editor also makes proforma invoices, invoices, payment receipts and credit notes, so when the deal moves on you pick the next document from the Type menu and the details carry across. Your last quote is kept on this device, the PDF is created on your computer, and nothing is uploaded.
How to use it
- Say whether you have a TRN, so VAT is estimated or left off.
- Add your logo and details, who the quote is for, and each line item.
- Set the valid-until date, your payment terms and any notes on scope.
- Download the PDF, and change the Type to an invoice once the client accepts.
Questions, answered
Is the quotation generator really free?
It is. There is no account to open, no watermark on the PDF and no ceiling on how many quotes you produce. Fill it in, check the preview, then download.
Should a quotation include VAT in the UAE?
If you are VAT-registered, including it helps the client see the full cost. Say that you have a TRN and 5% VAT is added and labelled as estimated, because a quote is an offer and not a tax invoice. Without registration, no VAT is added.
What is the difference between a quotation and a proforma invoice?
Neither is a bill, and neither counts as a sale. A quotation puts a price on work you may be asked to do. A proforma invoice normally follows once the client has said yes, so they can arrange payment ahead of the actual invoice. You will find both in the Type menu.
How do I turn a quote into an invoice?
After the client accepts, switch the Type to Invoice or Tax Invoice. Everything carries over (client, items and prices) and the document is given its own invoice number.
How long should a quote be valid for?
Use the valid-until date. Thirty days is typical, and a shorter window makes sense where prices move, such as media buys or event venues.
Is my quote saved or sent anywhere?
Nothing is uploaded. Your browser holds the whole thing: your latest quote is kept on this device so it survives a refresh, and the PDF is generated on your own computer.
