FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Lumen opens its first Gulf store in Dubai Design District

The skincare brand's flagship brings its full range and a treatment studio to the UAE

DUBAI, UAE, 1 October 2026: Lumen, the skincare brand known for its fragrance-free serums, today opened its first store in the Gulf at Dubai Design District. The 180 square metre flagship carries the brand's full range and a treatment studio offering skin consultations by appointment.

The opening follows two years of online sales in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, where the Gulf has become one of the brand's fastest-growing markets.

“Our customers in the Gulf found us online first. Now they can walk in, try everything and talk to someone who knows their skin,” said Sara Haddad, General Manager, Lumen Middle East.

Save as PDF opens your browser’s print window: choose Save as PDF there. Paste the release into the body of your email and attach the PDF as well, so it can be read without opening a file.

Before you send it

  • A headline.

  • A dateline: where and when.

  • A quote, with who said it.

  • About the company.

  • A media contact.

What it does

Editors read a great many releases, and they read them in a fixed order. The release line says when they may publish. The headline carries the news in one line, and the subheadline the detail that makes it matter. The dateline opens the first paragraph with the place and date, and that paragraph should answer who, what, when and where by itself. Then comes a quote from a named person that can be used word for word, the -ENDS- mark, a short standard paragraph about the company, and a media contact with a name, email and phone number that someone will answer.

The generator sets your words into that structure. Choose العربية and the release runs right to left, with the Arabic release line, date, end mark and headings. You can save it as an A4 PDF through your browser's print window, copy it as formatted text for an email, or copy it as plain text. Your draft stays in this browser for when you return, and nothing is uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Pick English or Arabic, and whether the news is for immediate release or under embargo.
  2. Write the headline, the story with its dateline, and a quote from a named spokesperson.
  3. Add your standard company paragraph and a media contact who will pick up the phone.
  4. Save it as a PDF, or copy it into an email to the editor who covers your subject.

Questions, answered

What goes in a press release, and in what order?

Top to bottom: a release line (immediate, or the embargo time), the headline, an optional subheadline, and the body, which begins with the city and date. After the story come a quote from a named spokesperson, the end mark, a brief paragraph about the company, and the media contact.

Can I write the release in Arabic?

Yes. Switching to العربية flips the layout to right to left and swaps in the Arabic release line, date, end mark and headings. For Gulf media you may want both languages: finish the English version, switch, and write the Arabic one.

What does an embargo mean?

It is a request to hold the story until a stated moment. Select Embargoed and write that moment in full, time zone included (for example 09:00 GST, 1 October 2026), so there is no room for doubt.

How do I save it as a PDF?

Use Save as PDF. The browser's print window appears with the release set on an A4 page; pick Save as PDF there to produce the file. None of it is uploaded.

Is my draft kept?

Yes, in this browser, so it is waiting when you come back. It is not sent anywhere.

How do I give the release a better chance of being used?

Lead with what happened, not with how pleased the company is to announce it. Send it to the editor who covers the subject, with the release in the body of the email and the PDF and pictures attached. Where the outlet publishes in Arabic, offer both languages, and include a picture editors are free to use, with a caption and a credit.
