One reel and three story frames at the rates above. Packages are often quoted 10 to 15% below the sum.

A starting point for a conversation, not a price list: no public one exists. Usage rights, exclusivity, whitelisting for ads and tight deadlines all add to it. See how the estimate is built below.

What it does

Nobody publishes an official price list for creators, in the Gulf or anywhere else. What the industry works from instead is a rule of thumb: a rate for every thousand followers, different for each platform and format, and around USD 10 for an Instagram feed post. This calculator starts there, adjusts the figure for how well the creator's audience engages compared with accounts of a similar size, then for where the creator sits in the market: Value (x0.7) for newer creators or a long-term package, Standard (x1) for the rule of thumb as it is, or Premium (x1.4) for in-demand niches.

Engagement moves the price by half of its distance from what is typical. Twice the usual engagement adds 50%, half of it takes 25% off, and the adjustment is held between minus 30% and plus 50%, so one exceptional month cannot set a year's fee. Each format also has a minimum below which creators rarely take a brief. The answer is a range, from 25% under to 30% over the middle figure, because fees are agreed rather than calculated. Dirhams and riyals are converted at their fixed pegs of 3.6725 and 3.75 to the US dollar, so the conversion never goes stale.

How to use it

  1. Choose the platform (Instagram, TikTok or YouTube) and the currency you want the answer in.
  2. Type in the creator's follower count and, if you have it, the engagement rate on their recent posts.
  3. Pick the positioning that honestly fits: Value, Standard or Premium.
  4. Read the range for each format, then price usage rights, exclusivity and timing on top when you negotiate.

Questions, answered

What is a fair price for an influencer in the UAE?

Nobody sets one. Neither the UAE nor any other market has an official tariff for creators. Pricing tends to start from a per-thousand-follower rule of thumb (roughly USD 10 per thousand for an Instagram feed post) and then shifts with engagement and demand. The calculator makes each of those steps visible and converts at the fixed dirham and riyal pegs, so you open the negotiation with a figure you can explain.

Which starting rates does it use?

Per 1,000 followers, before engagement and positioning: an Instagram reel USD 12 (minimum USD 60), a feed post USD 10 (USD 50) and one story frame USD 4 (USD 20); a TikTok video USD 8 (USD 50) and a TikTok story USD 3 (USD 20); a dedicated YouTube video USD 20 (USD 150), an integration inside a video USD 10 (USD 80) and a Short USD 6 (USD 40). They are rounded working figures based on what is commonly quoted, not a published tariff. If your market runs higher or lower, change the positioning.

Why should engagement change the fee?

Reach potential and real response are different things. Follower count shows the first and engagement shows the second, and a smaller account whose audience responds twice as much can be the better booking. Here the fee moves by half of the gap between the creator's engagement and the norm for their size, within a cap, so an unusually good month never sets the rate on its own.

What does the estimate leave out?

Anything beyond the post itself: the brand's right to reuse the content in its ads or on its site, a ban on working with competitors, whitelisting (running the post as a paid ad), tight turnarounds and travel. These are usually priced separately, often as a percentage added to the base fee.

Where do I get the follower and engagement figures?

You type them in, so ask the creator for their own insights before agreeing a fee on follower count alone. Reach and saves on their last ten posts will tell you more than any calculator.

Can creators use it to set their own rates?

It works in both directions: a creator can run the same numbers before a brand does. The only rule is honesty about positioning. Premium belongs to niches where brands compete for attention, not to anyone hoping for a bigger figure.
