Meta One for business: the plans, UAE prices and whether to pay
Meta's new subscription sells features businesses have never been able to buy before, including links in organic Instagram posts. Here is what each business plan includes, what it costs in the UAE and where it stops.

Meta has started charging for a new set of features across its apps. Meta One, launched on 15 September 2026, is a subscription that bundles paid extras on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Meta AI. For individuals it mostly means more AI generation and more creative tools. For businesses and creators it matters more, because some of what it sells has never been offered before, clickable links in organic Instagram posts among them.
What follows reflects what Meta had published, what the UAE press had reported and what remained unclear as of 23 September 2026. Meta's own pages do not all agree yet, and we point out where they differ.
Personal plans and business plans
Meta One comes in two tiers. The personal plans are Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus at 3.99 US dollars a month, WhatsApp Plus at 2.99, and two bundles, Core at 7.99 and Premium at 19.99, which add more use of Meta AI's image and video generation. Meta says the core apps and Meta AI remain free, and that this is not changing.
For a business, the plans that count are the four aimed at businesses and creators. The prices below are Meta's starting prices per month.
- Essential, from 14.99 dollars. A verified badge (subject to passing verification), a verified channel on the WhatsApp Business app, protection against impersonation, and more access to Meta Business Agent, the assistant that answers customers on WhatsApp around the clock.
- Advanced, from 49.99 dollars. Stories scheduled up to 30 days ahead, clickable links in organic posts and Reels, exportable analytics, deeper audience insights, team access without sharing a password, and more linked devices and broadcast credits on WhatsApp.
- Expert, from 149 dollars, and Max, from 499 dollars. The highest levels of feature access and Business Agent capacity. According to Engadget, Max includes unlimited requests for human support and the option of a phone call with a member of Meta's staff.
The allowances behind each plan
The launch post left several numbers out. Meta's help pages, updated in the week after launch, supply some of them.
- Instagram links: 4 posts and 4 Reels with links a month on Advanced, 8 and 8 on Expert, and 12 and 12 on Max. Posts and Reels are counted separately, the allowance resets on the renewal date, and unused links do not carry over.
- Team access: up to 4 people on Advanced, 8 on Expert and 30 on Max. Invitations expire after 7 days.
- A link page holding up to 20 links on every business plan, compared with 5 links in the bio without a subscription.
- Scheduling of posts and Reels up to a year ahead on Advanced, Expert and Max, on mobile.
Khaleej Times also reported separate link allowances for Facebook, including a cap of two link posts a month for Pages without a subscription, with links in ads unaffected. Those figures came from the press rather than a Meta page, so confirm them in the app before you plan around them. If they hold, any business whose organic Facebook activity relies on link posts will notice.
Meta has not said how many Business Agent responses or WhatsApp broadcast credits each plan includes. Choose a plan on the features you can see, not on allowances nobody has published.
Prices in the UAE
UAE outlets reported local prices at launch: Essential from 46.99 dirhams a month, Advanced from 119 and Expert from 359, with Gulf News giving Max from 1,199. For the personal plans, WhatsApp Plus was reported at 5.99 dirhams, Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus at 7.99, Core at 22.99 and Premium at 76.99. None of those reports quoted Meta directly, so check the price in the app on your own account. Saudi Arabia was one of the markets where Meta tested the business plans in May 2026, but Saudi prices had not been reliably reported at the time of writing.
Meta says plans, benefits, pricing and availability can vary by region, app and account. Its launch post describes the plans as available globally and rolling out gradually, while several of its help pages still call Meta One a limited test that is not yet available in every country. If you cannot see it on your account yet, that is why.
How it relates to Meta Verified
Meta presents Meta One as building on Meta Verified, the verification subscription it began selling in 2023. Meta Verified arrived in the UAE and Saudi Arabia in July 2023 at 46.99 dirhams a month, the same figure now reported for Meta One Essential, and a business version followed later that year. When the business plans were first tested in May 2026, Meta said they did not replace Meta Verified. Meta's pages have not clearly set out what now happens to existing Meta Verified subscribers, so if you already pay for it, do not cancel on the assumption that Meta One covers the same ground.
Does it help your ads?
Nothing Meta has published says Meta One changes how ads are bought, delivered or priced, and nothing published about the plans includes ad credit, a discount or extra reach for paid campaigns. Ads are still bought in Ads Manager exactly as before, with their own links and buttons.
Some plans do carry organic visibility benefits. Engadget reported more visibility in Instagram search for Advanced and Expert, and the May test included appearing higher in Facebook and Instagram search. That helps people who are already looking for you to find you. It is not a substitute for a media budget.
Is it worth it for your business?
- If you sell through organic posts and need clickable links, Advanced is probably worth a trial, judged on the traffic those links actually bring.
- If fake pages regularly impersonate your brand, as they do many well-known brands, Essential's verification and impersonation protection may justify the cost on their own.
- If you answer customers on WhatsApp, the Business Agent capacity may matter, though without published allowances it is hard to put a value on.
- If your growth comes mainly from paid media, there is little in Meta One for the ads themselves.
Before you sign up
Find out whether anyone on your team, or your agency, has already subscribed on one of your accounts, and to which plan. If an agency manages your pages, agree whether the subscription sits on your account and budget or inside their retainer, because it is billed to whichever account subscribes. Check whether your organic plan depends on link posts. And keep an eye on Meta's help pages: the figures above appeared within days of launch, and more are likely to follow.
If you do subscribe, add UTM parameters to the new organic links so the traffic they bring can be measured separately from your ads.
If you are weighing Meta One against what you already spend on social media, ALXO would be glad to go through the options with you.
