The Brief
What they asked forScent for rooms you want to stay in.
Artpoint makes scent diffusers and essential oil blends, designed to sit nicely in any room.
They see scent as part of looking after yourself, and wanted a brand that felt the same way: calm, well made and a little bit luxurious. It had to look right on a tall diffuser in a living room, on a small one on a desk, and on the box it comes in.
So we kept it quiet. A fine, wide wordmark, one icon, two colours and their line, "Scent-sational feelings", underneath. Then we wrote it all down in a brand guide, so anyone making something for Artpoint gets it right the first time.

The Logo
Wordmark and iconA curl of scent.
The O in Point has a dot in the middle with a curl rising out of it, like the first wisp from a diffuser. That curl and dot also work on their own as the icon, on packaging, on the diffusers and as an app icon.

Two short lists sit at the front of the guide. Every photo, caption and box gets checked against them.

The Type
Two families
CA Negroni is a wide display face with curvy, boxy letters. It's the logo typeface. It isn't a web font, so the logo is standing in for it here.
